1. In Good Weather Conditions: |
Mulch glue continues to gain strength for 48 hours, so it's crucial to let it dry in good weather conditions: temperatures above 68°F / 20℃ and humidity below 70%. Since it's water-based, rain can dilute the glue, weakening the bond strength. |
2. Clean & Dry Base: |
Before applying mulch glue, ensure the base material is dry, clean, and free from moisture, mud, or dust. Contaminants can impede the bond between the stones. |
3. Shake Before Use: |
Before using the product, please shake the liquid to ensure its uniformity and prevent blockage of the nozzle. If your sprayer has low pressure or there is thickening of leftover adhesive over time, dilute it with 10% to 20% water. |
4. For a More Robust Finish: |
You can apply 2 or 3 coats of mulch glue for the strongest finish, allowing the first coat to dry for 24 hours or until fully dry before applying a second coat. |
5. Long-Lasting Effect: |
Mulch glue typically remains effective for one year. It's recommended to reapply it to your garden after the winter season for added reinforcement. Use within 6 months after opening. May turn white when exposed to rain, but will become transparent again after dry. |
