DEEP POUR UP TO 4 INCHES : Teexpert 2:1 Mix Epoxy Resin is perfect for larger projects that require deep pours, such as flower preservation, ocean dioramas, river tables and festive decorations, etc. Our extra deep pour resin formulation allows you to pour 2-4 inches at a time without worrying about thickness limitations.

CRYSTAL CLEAR & HIGH GLOSS: Teexpert's high-quality raw materials and robust UV-resistant formula ensure unmatched transparency and prevent yellowing over time. Perfect for various resin art projects, such as jewelry making, coasters, key chains, pyramids, dominoes, serving trays, cutting boards, acrylic pour paintings, etc.

SELF-LEVELING & BUBBLE-FREE: Say goodbye to bubbles and uneven surfaces. Our deep pour epoxy resin features a unique 3X self-defoaming formula, ensuring bubbles vanish and the resin self-levels for a smooth finish.

RESIST YELLOWING & HARD AS ROCK: Our clear cast epoxy resin is incredibly solid, with a hardness index exceeding 85D, much harder than regular 1:1 epoxy, more stable and scratch-resistant. Our UV-protected resin won't yellow over time, allowing your artwork to remain crystal clear for years to come.

EASY TO USE: Simply mix resin and hardener with a 2:1 ratio by volume, slowly stir until the liquid has no swirls, pour the mixture into the mold, and wait 72 hours for full curing.

WIDE APPLICATIONS

  1. Jewelry, coasters, trays and other art & craft projects.
  2. Flower/insect/souvenir preservation, pyramids, ocean dioramas, or other deep pour projects that require thicker pour depths.

QUICK GUIDE

  • Step 1 - Mix resin A with hardener B 2:1 by volume.
  • Step 2 - Stir thoroughly and slowly until no swirl is observed. Make sure to scrape the side and bottom of the mixing container to ensure all resin and hardener are thoroughly blended. Failing to do so can result in soft spots in your piece.
  • Step 3 - Let it stand for 5 minutes to help bubbles float and pop. Pour the clear liquid into a mold or over the object you are coating.
  • Step 4 - It takes 24 hours to demold and 72 hours to fully cure.

Optional: 1. For coloring, add in pigments before Step 3 and stir until thoroughly mixed. 2. Use a torch or heat gun to remove bubbles if need be.

IMPORTANT NOTES

  1. Not for tumblers craft.
  2. Please make sure your flowers are thoroughly dehydrated and moisture-free before using epoxy resin for preservation. Moisture might produce steam and bubbles during curing, which could lead to flower damage.
  3. Resin is extremely difficult to remove from clothing, carpets and other porous materials. Use in workshops rather than carpeted areas.
  4. Cleaning can be done with rubbing alcohol, mineral spirits, acetone, or other mild solvents.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Q: How to ensure proper curing of epoxy resin?

A: Epoxy resin is a versatile and solid material, but it requires careful attention to detail for successful use. To ensure it hardens properly, be mindful of these common issues:

  1. Inaccurate measurements: It's important to mix the resin and hardener in a 2:1 ratio by volume. Use a graduated mixing cup for accurate measurements.
  2. Under-mixing: Mix the resin and hardener thoroughly, scrape the sides and bottom of the mixing cup to ensure a consistent blend. Mixing should take at least 5 minutes.
  3. Wet inclusions: Any inclusions added to the resin, such as flowers or other organic materials, must be completely dry. Moisture can cause improper curing and soft spots in your piece.
  4. Low temperature: The optimal curing temperature for epoxy resin is between 60-85°F. If the environment is too cold, the curing process may be slower and less effective. Consider using a space heater or working in a temperature-controlled environment.
  5. Improper storage: Exposure to sunlight or high temperatures during storage can cause epoxy resin to lose its effectiveness. Store the resin in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.

Q: How to achieve bubble-free?

A: Air bubbles can occur due to stirring too fast, cold temperatures, pouring too thick, or releasing trapped air. Here are some tips to help you avoid bubbles and achieve optimal results:

  1. Warm the resin before mixing to reduce bubble formation.
  2. Mix the resin and hardener thoroughly, stir slowly in one direction.
  3. Before pouring, place the mixed resin and hardener into hot water at around 140°F, let it sit for 5 minutes to accelerate the bubbles coming out. Or, use a vacuum chamber to remove any air bubbles that may be present.
  4. After pouring, use a heat gun or torch to eliminate any remaining bubbles.
